The open sea as a playing ground!

Get a foretaste of this trip

These cruises allow you to live an intensive week of sailing and gain experience in coastal and offshore navigation. For Swiss citizens, they are an opportunity to validate miles for the Swiss sea permit. Each cruise is a 400 to 500 miles journey, the guarantee of a complete change of scene!

Weather conditions will determine our route and the speed of the boat. If time permits, half a day will be dedicated to the discovery of a stopover.

A typical day

Participants actively contribute to the navigation and manoeuvring, ensure day and night watches, acquire knowledge of the instrumentation of a commercial vessel (AIS, radar, Maxsea software) and maintain the navigation log book. They learn how to choose a suitable route in function of the weather and currents and to prepare a landing.

For these cruises, the maximum number of participants is 8 people. Single participants usually share a cabin with another crew member.
